Current Activities

Our Centre plays an active role in the examination processes of undergraduate and graduate pedagogical formation courses conducted under the coordination of the Faculty of Education at our university. Within this scope, optical answer sheets are printed, post-examination optical reading processes are carried out, and raw scores are calculated reliably and delivered to the relevant units.

In addition, for the multiple-choice examinations of the Faculty of Medicine, optical answer sheets are scored, and item analyses are conducted. The findings are shared with the relevant unit, contributing to the improvement of the psychometric quality of the examinations. Through these activities, the technical adequacy of measurement tools is enhanced, and scientific support is provided to teaching and learning processes.

Planned Activities

Our Centre is currently able to carry out only a portion of its broad scope of activities defined in its founding regulation, within the limits of its existing technical and personnel capacity. In the coming periods, it aims to provide measurement and evaluation consultancy services for public institutions and private sector organisations, as well as to organise certification-based training programs and certification examinations.

Furthermore, studies on scale development and adaptation in the social sciences, the organisation of national and international examinations, and the hosting of scientific events (such as congresses, symposiums, and panels) are planned. With the strengthening of infrastructure and human resources, publishing books, journals, and project outputs in the field of measurement and evaluation, as well as producing original and translated works, will constitute an important component of our vision.
