The Measurement, Evaluation, Certification, Application and Research Centre of Akdeniz University was established in accordance with the regulation published in the Official Gazette dated September 7, 2014, and numbered 29112. The primary objective of the Centre is to enhance the quality of measurement and evaluation activities conducted within various units of the university and to contribute to the development of scientific standards in this field.
In line with its founding purpose, the Centre provides consultancy services on measurement and evaluation to public institutions and organisations, as well as private sector enterprises. It aims to organise certification-based training programs, seminars, and certificate programs. In addition, the Centre conducts studies on the development of measurement instruments in the field of social sciences, carries out research in educational sciences, and organises examinations at both national and international levels.
Among its areas of activity are providing examination services requested by academic units, developing and adapting measurement tools for selection, placement, classification, and guidance purposes, organising scientific events such as national and international congresses, symposiums, and panels, and publishing books, journals, reports, and projects in the field of measurement and evaluation.
Within the scope of its available resources, the Centre continues to contribute to the development of educational policies and to produce solutions tailored to the needs of its stakeholders.
